Ted Rockley has always been animating. Obsessive drawing of flip books as a kid led to making films and a BA Hons from the Hornsey College of art in 1974.

Freelancing for commercials and TV, his work included the animation for the BBC Adult Literary project "On The Move", programme titles and stings for LWT, as well as producing the short films "Way Out" and "When I'm Rich".

In 1981 Ted co-founded Klacto Animations, and although he is a traditional animator, he has embraced new technology to put Klacto firmly in the digital age. Ted has been described as a quiet man with an explosive approach to animation.
